PSP-104 added to the slurries prevents the migration of gas through the binding cement stone, which allows to obtain a tightness of the cement slury, especially in gas wells. Addition of PSP-104 also reduces fluid loss of cement slurries. It is most often used in quantities up to 20%, up to a temperature of 1200C in cement slurries made from fresh and salined water (severall percent).
PSP109 as an additive to the cement slurry controls fluid loss, preventing gas migration by binding stone, thus increasing the tightness of the cement’s coat, particularly in the gas wells. It can be used in slurries based on water with low salinity to fully saline (NaCl). Most often it used in amounts of 0.5 ÷ 2.0% (BWOC) to a temperature of approx. 2200oC
